Twin Cities Jewish Chorale

On Feb. 26, 2012, the Twin Cities Jewish Chorale will perform tunes from the heyday of Yiddish stage and radio productions. They’ll indulge a little Gershwin. They’ll treat the audience to Broadway show tunes by Bernstein and Bock. They’ll sing a rarely performed, and uniquely Jewish, piece by Kurt Weill. And, of course, they’ll kibbitz about the indispensable contributions Jewish composers have made to American pops literature. The Twin Cities Jewish Chorale will also welcome to the stage the winner of its Young Artist Solo Competition, open to junior and senior high school students across the Twin Cities. All are welcome to the fully accessible Adath synagogue.
